A larger than average, beautifully landscaped garden. This fabulous and striking garden has a number of themes, such as a large rockery around a pond, a koi carp pool surrounded by a Japanese ornamental garden, beautiful botanical courtyard and an impressive sweeping driveway.
What we did
When designing the irrigation system, the different themes and planting schemes had to be taken into account to ensure that the correct amount of water would be distributed to the relevant areas.
The irrigation system comprises gear driven pop up sprinklers to the main lawns, short range pop up sprinklers and micro sprinklers to the courtyard area, micro sprinklers and misters to the flower beds in the rockery and Ecodrip drip irrigation to borders and hedges.
The irrigation system is fed from a large holding tank. The controller is fitted with a wireless rain sensor and a remote control.
The installation of this irrigation system was carried out in stages according to the work in progress.
